45 km/h Version:
Driving requires a Class AM or B license, or the old Class 3 or Class 4 driver's license is completely sufficient.The Class AM, starting at 15 years of age, allows for the operation of mopeds with a maximum displacement of 50 cubic centimeters (for models with an internal combustion engine), 4 kW continuous rated power (for electric drive), and a maximum speed of 45 km/h. The minimum age for obtaining a driver's license in Class AM has been lowered to 15 years in Germany. The Class AM is valid only within the country until the completion of the 16th year of life. Trips abroad are prohibited.The following vehicles are included in driver's license class AM:
